Terms and Conditions.
By working with me you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.
These terms and Conditions are designed to create a respectful, fair, reasonable and safe tattooing process for both you and me. Fees that may be incurred are a means to recover cost of equipment set-up and loss of income.

+ DRAWING FEE POLICY
- All drawings require a non-refundable drawing fee. The drawing fee is a partial payment toward your tattoo and does not come off the price of your tattoo.
- The amount agreed upon is dependent on the size of the design required.
- The drawing fee does not give you ownership of the design.
Nor is it a commitment to get the design as a tattoo.
- This is an agreed fee to compensate me for a small portion of the time spent on the research, concept sketches and design whether you choose to proceed with the tattoo or not.
- All artwork, designs, drawings or concepts remain my intellectual property
Until such time the final design is tattooed or full payment made.You may choose to have the design as a print if you choose not to proceed with the tattoo process however you may not reproduce and/or sell the design without my written consent.
- In most cases you will not see your drawing until the day of your booking.
- If you are nervous and really need to see the drawing before you commit we can make an appointment to view the design beforehand.
I will not email or send the design via social media.
- If you decide that you do not like the design that was created based on the information you provided.
I reserve the right to offer the design or a derivative as a flash design (unless of a very personal nature) to the general public if I so choose.That is, unless you would like to own the design. In which case we will agree on a price (generally this will be the quoted price for the cost of the tattoo less the drawing fee) and the design will become yours and yours alone.
- If you decide that the design requires a large amount of changes or a complete overhaul. You will be required to complete another consultation and pay another drawing fee.
Depending on the reasons and the amount of work I may choose to waive or discount this additional fee at my discretion.
- The drawing fee is not a deposit.
You will be required to confirm your appointment by card to confirm your appointment for your tattoo.
+ CANCELLATION/NO-SHOW POLICY
I no longer ask for deposits
Appointments must be confirmed and secured by card. Appointments unconfirmed and secured may be given to someone else.
The only time your card wil be charged is for any of the reasons outlined below.
You will be charged a cancellation fee if..
- You fail to give more than 48 hours notice of cancelltion or reshedule. You will be charged a 30% fee based on the estimated price of your tattoo appointment. There may be extenuating circumstances for short notice cancellation or rescheduling. I will use my discretion when such a situation arises and may waive the fee or transfer the fee as a credit to a new appointment.
- If you show up but you have decided to get a different tattoo than what was previously discussed and designed based on the information you provided (minor alterations are perfectly normal). You can always change your mind. I will never force you to get a tattoo. However, majour changes will take more time and will rsult in the tattoo appointment becoming a consultation. This means I will need to cover the cost of the equipment that was used to set-up for your appointment and I will no longer get paid for the time I set aside specifically for you and your tattoo. As such you will be charged a 30% fee if you decide to go ahead with the consultation process or a 50% fee if you decide to cancel completely (effectivly making the appointment a now show).
- You show up intoxicated. Even one drink or a little high is not acceptable. I need your full and sober consent to proceed with that tattoo procedure. You will be charged a 30% fee if you decide to reshedule or a 50% fee if you decide to cancel.
- You show up with a minor child. We can’t have unattended children in the tattoo studio for various safety reasons. You will be busy and unable to supervise or attend to your child while being tattooed and there are many dangers to children in the studio. Children can also be very disruptive to the process. You will be charged a 30% fee if you choose to reshedule to a time when your child can be cared for or a 50% fee if you decide to cancel completely.
A tattoo studio is not a child friendly environment.
You will be charged a no-show fee if:
- You are 20 minutes late (without reasonable notice) for your appointment. You will be chared a 50% no-show fee based on the estimated price of your tattoo appointment. Multiple no-shows will result in me no longer making appointments for you and adding you to my black-list.
I make sure to plan ahead and give plenty of time for travel, cleaning, set-up etc when I am coming in for your appointment so that I can be on time for you. I appreciate the same respect.
+ SUPPORT PERSON POLICY
I have absolutely no problem with you bringing someone along for support. I completely understand that this can help with the tattoo process. I do however ask that you only bring one person.
Too many people in a small space is both very distracting and dangerous.
Your support person must:
- Be respectful of the studio space.
- This includes myself, my colleagues and their clients.
- Follow instructions from me where required.
- These instructions will be to ensure a comfortable and safe working environment for both myself and you.
- Remove themselves from the studio in a calm manner if asked to leave for violating any of the above.
- If you try to bring more than one person you will be asked to choose which person will be allowed to stay. Any others will be required to leave.
